Im so damn happy today! Finally Finally got some of my new work posted. It feels great.

A break down for all the curious people out there.

Since making the website,.... Ive noticed alot about the new work. Things that have to be improved and made better etc. And I realized, I really need to find a reliable stylist. To work with me on some new fresh editorial story's in Berlin Germany,, this summer. Thats defiantly a new goal for the goal list.

the plan

Hey,

So, lots has happened to me in the last month. I have been thrown a bit behind in my photography work.

The reason why the Photos have not been uploaded is because half way threw of being in Berlin my lab top broke. Whats a photographer with out a computer :(. Id say kinda a mini nightmare.

I'm leaving Berlin soon, to return to Canada, so I can catch up on my photography editing and website updating. And get myself a new computer!

There will be a large amount of new photos. Most likely the biggest up-date of photos I have ever done. Its been 7 months of photography work. So you can only imagine how many photo shoots have been shot.


Tomorrow is my last photo shoot here and I am, pretty exicted. I have a great team to work with, plus some really great ideas.

I hope to get some feedback from everyone on the new work. Trust me when I say, when the photo's get posted you will know. I will update everything.. facebook,..model mayhem,.. my website,... my space. . . my blog!

Im Sorry

Hey,

I hate to have to write this little note. But I really cant take the time to email each person i know owe photos to from my European trip. Everyone I have worked with... was aware my computer is broken and damaged and running so slow its takes about 1 hour to photo shop one photo. Which usually takes me 20 mins. I told everyone they would get there photos mid Jan. Then I was in Scotland spending quality time with my family ( so fucking happy i did that too)

So i pushed the date back to the end of Jan.

I was in Berlin with my bags packed literally flying out of Berlin in the morning. When i got a phone call from my mother in Canada to inform me. That my year 17 year old,...precious cousin was killed in Scotland. So of course i had to change my flights to return to Scotland to be here to support my family at such a hard hard hard time.

Im sorry to the people i owe photos to. But some how this is so much more important then your portfolio photos. .Everyone will get there photos But not until the end of February.

Im sorry but i hope you can understand and if you cant understand. There is nothing i can do to change this situation of not having a computer.

BACK FROM PARIS.

I wanted to say one thing. I love Paris so much, wow. I think its a photographers dream land. Beautiful people, beautiful language, and beautiful places to shoot. I always hear bad things about Paris, people always tell me that it sucks and they didn't like it. Meanwhile I get there and I'm thinking wtf? Because Paris is so nice and the people where super nice to me. I had a photo shoot as soon as I got to Paris. The problem is, I only had about an hour to shoot and no time to location hunt. So I had to work with what I had. It was really cold for the model due to it being extremely windy. I felt so bad for her,. . But she was great and never complained once. I will upload a preview from the photo shoot in Paris as soon as I get the chance. I'm a busy women you know:p

Tomorrow I have probably one of my last photo shoots here in Berlin before I return to Canada.
I'm shooting in studio with a designer from Berlin, I have worked with her before, she is great. I hope its goes well. The model looks wicked so hopefully we can make some magic.

I leave for Scotland on Wed of next week. And I will be gone into the hills visiting my family for about 2 weeks where I will be unavailable and taking a break from all the photo shoot stuff.

I'm doing my best to post examples of new work. These photos are from some of the last minute shoots I had at the studio here in Berlin. Lat minute sometimes meaning having no make up artist or clothes. And working with whatever you can find. I feel like when I shoot in the studio its always last minute. But that doesn't matter because this is what is produced :D

I'm off to Paris this weekend.. I have a shoot planed there. I hope it turns out :D

THE STORY BEHIND IT.

Me and Sara Steep, went to high school together. We where in the same art class. Sara had been an artist since the 1st time we met.. drawings,..paintings and even photography.

I remember how it all started. I was talking to Sara on msn, when she told me to send my display photo to her. She photo shopped the photo and then sent it back to me. I freaked out because it was so cool and I had no idea, she was so good at photo shop. She has been photo shopping for a long time, years before I started photography.

I went to college for photography. At this time Sara, was always telling me to send her photos so that she could photo shop them.

Along the way we decided to start snap/shop. Which is my photography and her photo shopping skills. Which happens to make a great team. I think.

Be on the look out for Sara, she has got funky cool ideas and talent. Which makes for awesome photo retouching and editing. I hope you guys enjoy our new photo. I personally love it.
